Wentworthville straddles the Cumberland Council and City of Parramatta boundary, sitting on the western side of Westmead and the T1 Western rail line. The commercial spine runs along Station Street and the Great Western Highway, with the railway station, civic park and the strip of older single-storey shopfronts that turn over fairly often. End of lease strip outs and shop fit-out removals are the bread and butter of our work here.

The residential pockets – around Lane Street, Dunmore Street, and the streets west toward Pendle Hill – carry a deep run of post-war fibro and brick veneer homes. We see asbestos containing materials regularly in the eaves, the back of older wet area walls, vinyl floor tiles, and detached fibro garages. A lot of homes in the area are now being extended or renovated for second-generation owners, which is where the partial demolition work comes in: internal wall removal, kitchen and bathroom strip backs, old garage clear-outs.

Parking and access along the Great Western Highway is tight during the day, so we usually schedule skip bin drops and waste runs outside peak hours. For residential jobs, most driveways accept a 6 cubic metre skip without a council permit.
